I’ve been on trains and planes a bit lately, where there’s a crucial difference from driving: you can’t quite see where you’re going.

This is my third conference this month, and I’m loving it. I think there’s an approach to making the most of large events.
I’ve been lucky to meet some awesome people. It’s not like that’s too hard, but I’ll share what I do to make it easier. (I’ll try to skip the SXSW stuff I’ve seen others covering, and will instead link to them)

I spent the weekend before last working on taxes, and I look forward to the occasion every year.
But it wasn’t just a weekend of ledgers, receipts, and loopholes. It was better, and the lesson could be applied to many other things.

It’s easy to see Twitter and blogging as necessary ingredients to getting a message out, building thought leadership, or acquiring customers. There are thousands of examples of this.

Ramit Sethi of I Will Teach You to Be Rich recently posted “20 questions that your financially unprepared friends are afraid of.” I’ve re-used all of his questions, but swapped thoughts related to money with thoughts related to time.
Makes you think, eh?
